Our Shining Light Olina

We created this team in honour of our daughter Olina, who was born sleeping on April 1 2021.

Before we experienced our loss, we didn't know much about the Butterfly Run. Although you never wish to be part of this heartbreaking club, we were so grateful to be one of the families that have been touched by the thoughtfulness of this organization.

It is so hard to be on the labour and delivery floor and wait... hearing babies and know at the end of your stay, you are leaving with empty arms. It was because of the Butterlfy Run that we were able to spend time with our daughter and create things in her memory. We were given the loveliest package that included items that all served a special purpose. The whole thing was so thought out with care. 

We knew right away that we wanted to be a part of this. We wanted to give back to families going through the same experiences as us and we were going to do it in honour of Olina!
